Both Gabriella and Lucia love to dress up, they love to take simple dresses, add some bits and bobs and dress up for the day. How I love their huge imagination, isn’t it one of the many beautiful gifts of childhood. To watch little people be innocent, worry free and creative is very endearing to me. I will often wonder around Notting Hill with them, perhaps go and grab a coffee and some cake dressed as whatever they want to be. Today they wanted to be princesses. They rummaged through their wardrobe and decided on their matching yet contrasting seersucker dresses and of course they headed straight for the piles of accessories and pulled out some very stylish necklaces and a crown.
There are certain fabrics that remind me of my childhood, seersucker is one of those. You rarely see it these days, i’m not quite sure why its such a beautiful fabric with a unique texture. The little green radicals have the most delightful seersucker pieces in their collection this summer. In fact, I love all of their seersucker pieces, they have used classic shapes that will never date but in fresh colours and tones to fit for 2016. Genius. The greatest addition is that its all organic cotton. Hurrah for stylish organic clothes that are kind to our children’s skin.
