Relax it's Mother's Day
I find it so hard to switch off even when i'm offered a break. Not sure how many times yesterday I heard 'Relax, it's Mother's Day'. The trait of a mother, we complain we don't get a break and can't seem to accept a break when it's offered!
Yesterday I enjoyed my first Mother's Day as a mama of two. I had my girls and Glenn spoil me all day. I was pampered, cooked for and enjoyed a relaxing Sunday doing nothing. The girls took an early morning trip to Primrose Bakery so that Gabriella could choose some Mother's Day cupcakes for Afternoon tea that she had planned we would have together. The girls also designed a beautiful personalised mug on Photobox as a present. I'm loving personalised presents, you just seem to feel the love that has gone into them and no one else has the exact same present.
We had a delicious Sunday lunch with my mum who I got to spoil and spend time with.
Being a Mummy is definitely the hardest and most tiring job I've ever had but it is certainly the most rewarding. I am totally blessed to have two amazingly happy, funny and healthy girls that mean the world to me.
Sending love to all the beautiful hard working mummies out there. Happy belated Mother's Day!
