Mothers Day with Lolas Cupcakes

Mothers Day with Lolas Cupcakes

I’m counting down the days until Mother’s Day. It’s our Day, which we should absolutely take all for ourselves. At least that’s what should happen. I’m hosting a Mother’s Day dinner for my mum so the only way I will get a rest is with a little forward planning and lots of delegating. I will take some of the strain out of my day by having our afternoon tea cupcakes taken care of by Lolas. Each year on Mother’s day, I enjoy setting up a magical looking, little afternoon tea for the girls, my mum and myself which we all enjoy together. I plan on choosing a few very pretty and delicate flowers which remind me of a pretty English garden to style the table in a similar way to the photos I’ve put together.

Cupcakes are an inherent part of any occasion in our family. I’m sure it’s the same in most families. They seem to be a guaranteed hit with every generation. I’ve always been a huge fan of Lola’s Cupcakes. My guilty pleasure is their Red Velvet, it’s honestly like no other. They have the most stunning and creative collection of cupcakes and a gorgeous 5 inch celebration cake for Mother’s day which encapsulates Spring just perfectly. If you’re not at home to have these cupcakes delivered and you’re out and about for Mothers Day I recommend picking up a cupcake or two (it’s Mother’s day after all) to enjoy during the day. They would also make a wonderful gift for a friend who is a mother, for grandparents and you can always pass on a little hint hint to the littles ones, hopefully they can pass on the information so the right present buyer. You never know, you might just have a yummy surprise delivered for you to enjoy on your day.
