Christmas Inspiration from Not on the High Street
It may seem a little odd to start thinking about Christmas in the middle of summer but all the press events are at this time. It really does take six months to prepare for this festive family event. I love Christmas. The preparation is so much more important and exciting now that I have a family of my own. I understand that Christmas has a unique meaning to everyone. Personally I never forget the true meaning of this joyous occassion and enjoy teaching my children about this. Being a very creative person, I love putting my creativity into decorating the house, the tree, wrapping presents and presenting beautiful food for friends and family to celebrate.
I adore everything about notonthehighstreet.com, just like their unique handcrafted products, their events are just as gorgeous and as stunning and represent their brand and truly bring their concept to life.
Their hand-picked edit is something I couldn't wait until nearer the big day to share, I think its never too early to start preparing and thinking about Christmas. Don't forget to bookmark this page to remind yourself of finishing touches to make Christmas even the more enjoyable.
Having one of their sellers making their hand made jewellery at the event was such a special and interactive touch. To actually be able to speak to someone who run their business through them was just lovely. I know I will be putting one on the bangles below on my christmas list, are they not just so stylish?
For those of you who are interested and may love these bangles as much as me her details are below. You should have a browse through her other pieces.
Even the windows were given an overhaul in true not on the high street style. I might try this with our sash windows at home this year. This would also work so well in a shop window, especially a little boutique.
Some of my favourite gift ideas were from the children's floor. The cardboard castle is just everything! My girls would love to help build it and it will keep them entertained for hours. It can also be decorated. How fun.
Isn't this just the most perfect dressing up cape for a little girl?
I love this advent balloon idea, instead of a traditional calendar. A perfect find for those who do not want to give their little ones chocolate every morning for a month.
