A Rainy Saturday at the Natural History Museum

When one of my child-free friends suggests we go out for the day I always find myself getting slightly anxious or nervous. It's not like we can wonder around aimlessly without a plan or sit and have long boozy lunches or dinners anymore. It's overwhelming how understanding true friends can be. Any mother would understand how relieved I felt with the suggestion of an afternoon at The Natural History Museum. Phew...I could relax knowing there would be hundreds of other little people making just as much noise as my own! We had such an amazing day. The hubbies went around geeking over volcanoes and dinosaurs whilst my friend and I wondered around getting lost in conversation and of course running after an over excited Gabriella.

It's been a while since I've been to The Natural History Museum, the added Investigate rooms they've added are so educational. They are aimed at Children 7+ but Gabriella was got so involved and loved the touch and feel experience this area offers.
