Beauty Edit: Green People Age Defy+ Tinted Moisturiser and Lip Crayon in Sangria

20150318-115305.jpg Green People isn't a new brand for me, I've used their ingredient conscious products for my babies over the past 3 years. They have always impressed me on performance for the children but I've not tried much for myself.

With Spring on the horizon I like to use lighter foundations or even better, a lightweight tinted moisturiser for the spring/summer months. In the daytime I really love the appearance of flawless, effortless skin with a slightly dewy fresh look but not greasy looking.

Since having children, especially whilst I was pregnant and breastfeeding my skin has had moments of being very sensitive, I blame it on the hormones! Not only have my hormones played a little havoc with my body over the past few years I'm definitely a little more observant and interested as to what I'm putting on my skin, the less chemicals in products the better.

Green People have recently launched new Age Defy+ tinted DD moisturiser which they have kindly sent me to try.

At £34.95 this tinted moisturiser is worth every penny, their organic formula uses 100% natural sea fennel plant stems which are very powerful skin healers and helps with the process of skin cell turnover, it also packs in lots of moisture and hydrates dry, tired skin. Unlike the majority of the DD high street beauty products the Green People's DD tinted moisturiser contains no irritants, chemical nasties or pore-clogging ingredients.

It's by far the lightest weighted tinted moisturiser I've tried, it feels like I'm wearing nothing at all. Although it's lightweight it gives great coverage for a tinted moisturiser, it also seems to illuminate the skin to give a healthy glow. I'm really into illuminating products so that was impressive to see from an organic product. My skin feels moisturised without feeling clogged. The best thing is that their age defy+ range is amazing for anti ageing, my skin is pretty good for my age but I put that down to preventative measures.

I was also sent a Green People Lip Crayon in Sangria. I love this. There's so much to love. It's organic, the colour is perfect, perfect for taking you from day to night, the texture, it's smooth and very effortless to apply. Lip crayons give a perfect finish as you can define the lip like you would with a lip liner and fill it as with a lipstick. Again, only the finest ingredients have been used, I can feel the benefit of the Shea butter, my lips feel moisturised and unlike with many lip crayons there is no soreness or colour staining. I have an olive skin tone, the burnt deep red compliments my complexion, I can imagine it working well on most skin tones.

What I love about green People's products is that even though they have taken out all the nasties and used the finest ingredients they do not compromise on the performance of their products.
