When I think of boho styling I think of what a modern free spirit may look like. It’s one of those styles that takes a little practice. It’s quite ironic really because the whole point of the boho look is to look as though everything has just been thrown together creating an effortlessly cool outfit. When I’m trying to put together a boho look I keep a few words in mind the first being ‘clash’, another is ‘texture’ and to find ‘unique’ pieces to throw into an outfit. To me, it’s about clashing prints with textures and layering many different textures and weighted fabrics.
Gabriella loves to experiment with boho styling too. She’s a little free spirit at heart. Actually, I think this way of styling works so well for little girls, they often want to wear things that don’t particularly match and many different textures in one outfit make it quite exciting for them.
For a bit of winter boho styling I recommend using a mixture of suedes, velvets, chunky knits, embroidered cotton and furs.
